St. Thomas Boys Home in Action

We are working on the maintenance of the current building and constructing new bathroom facilities adjacent to the dormitory for easy and safer access at night. Currently, the kids have a bit of a distance to go to use the bathrooms.

Presently, The boys home is housing 10 boys. This home has 2 full time Care Takers, one part time teacher, one Counselor, and one cook. A doctor visits the home to conduct health check-up & to provide medicines. All the inmates are being provided with 3 time’s nutritious food, books, sets of uniforms and regular daily clothes. Every child has opportunity for indoor and out-door recreation and play facilities.

Our goals are to feed, clothe, shelter and educate these children and equip them with life skills development to transition them into adulthood and to become leaders in their communities. 

The project cost is estimated to ₹500000 rupees.
